One of the many unique aspects of Pathway to Health are the Health Information Centers (HIC).

Directly following the event, lab results are sent out to local churches. These churches act as Health Information Centers. Before the patient leaves Pathway to Health, they are directed to one of these HIC’s chosen according to where the patient lives, language, and their health profile.

Each HIC has already chosen to present a Health Seminar over the next 4-5 weeks such as Depression Recovery, Cooking Schools, etc. Once the patient arrives, they not only receive their results, but are invited to attend a seminar giving them an opportunity to make long-term lifestyle changes that will impact their life.

If they attend one of these seminars, they will also meet a loving local congregation that will not only help them with these changes, but can share what God has done in their lives as well. These churches can also offer a bridge seminar moving people from health to spiritual conversations and even a follow-up evangelistic series. So far, we have a number of seminars going each week with as few as 4-5 or as many as 20-30 attending.
