NATIVE AMERICAN

MINISTRIES

General Information

Arizona is home of a major portion of the largest Indian Reservation in North America, the Navajo Nation with over 25,000 square miles. Arizona is also home of 20 other Indian Nations. A total of over 425,000 Native American people live in Arizona -- 6% of the State's population, occupying 25% of its land area.

The purpose of Arizona Native American Ministries is to hasten the return of Jesus by coordinating Seventh-day Adventist work for Native Americans across the State of Arizona.

We work closely with Pacific Union Conference Native Ministries and North American Division Native Ministries, and also with Native outreach ministries in adjoining states, especially Utah and New Mexico.
