Schools

The Arizona Conference Education Department provides classroom resources and supervision, school evaluations, personnel recruitment and hiring, curriculum recommendations, policy guidelines, and in-service training.

Thunderbird Adventist Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

​

All elementary schools are accredited by both the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventists (AAA) as well as the National Council on Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).

Scholarships

Black Ministries Education Scholarship

The Black Ministries Department of the Arizona Conference is available for students from Elementary to University. Students must be members of a Black Ministries Church and a legal resident of the United States.

Requirements

  • Students must remain enrolled for the duration of the school year

  • Student must maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA or a C plus average

Regional Scholarship Fund: Graduate Scholarship

The Regional Scholarship Fund is available for full-time graduate students enrolled in recognized educational programs leading to doctoral or master's degrees. Applicants must be citizens of Bermuda, Canada, or the USA and must be enrolled in schools based in the NAD territory. Students from other divisions are not eligible to receive assistance from this fund. Applicants must be church members in good standing in any of the churches in the Regional Conferences or in the North Pacific and Pacific Unions, administered by the North and Pacific Unions, administered by the Office of Regional Affairs for those Unions.​
